As we all know, TRP has a strong focus on sexual strategy. I have certainly learned a lot on how to improve my interactions with women, and the results are undeniable.

When it comes to interactions with other men, I haven't seen TRP give as much guidance. As someone who grew up without a father figure, I have often struggled with other men's tests. A few years ago, I used to act like nothing happened if another guy would disrespect me, because I was generally under the impression that starting a fight over nothing was just a waste of time. I was never a pussy, but I wasn't really aggressive and assertive either.

###The Episode that changed me for the worst

Then one day, everything changed. I had one of my then-girlfriend's guy friends disrespect me a few times, first in a light manner and then more heavily later. I eventually put a stop to it and threatened to send him to the hospital if he ever disrespected me in front of my girlfriend again. He stopped, and it felt like I finally came out victorious. However by then, the damage had already been done. A couple of years later I found out my girlfriend had cheated on me with him.

Knowing what I know now, I can for sure tell you that she cheated on me because the guy simply AMOGed me. She sensed my weakness and his strength, and she got the tingles and hypergamy kicked in. When I found out, I was fucking livid. This whole thing happened pre-TRP for me, and I truly thought that she loved me or at the very least that she respected me enough not to sleep with the guy that disrespected me so often (lmao).

Fast forward a couple of years, and my life has improved immensely. However, that trauma stayed with me. If a guy disrespects me today, I will do whatever is in my power to be the winner at the end, no matter what the stakes are. I would rather overreact and threaten violence than let a guy AMOG me. This is obviously not the best way to handle things, because:

  1. It makes my interactions with strangers less relaxed
  2. It has a negative impact on my frame (since by reacting to what they say means I am automatically failing their tests)
  3. It is very counterproductive to the stoic mindset

However, I just don't know how to deal with this. I feel that if I don't react, I will come out as the loser at the end. If I act like a guy's words don't really affect me, the bitch I am currently sleeping with may go behind my back and fuck him. Even though I don't really care about a girl's fidelity any more, I do care about respect.

TL;DR: What is the best way to react to someone who tests your boundaries? Being unreactive and "cool" about it has definitely not worked for me. Being aggressive and potentially violent about it is always regarded as the worst option, but it is the only behaviour that has consistently allowed me to AMOG those assholes that tried to disrespect me in the past.

If you think that the answer is obvious, don't just say it's obvious or that I'm a troll or autistic. If you care enough to write a comment, you might as well make it an informative one. I know many people who are in a similar situation as me, both on and off askTRP, so your wisdom can positively affect many of us.
