Had a date set up with a girl I matched with on Tinder last week. Everything seemed good as we exchanged a few texts with each other. Asked her out for drinks via the app and once she replied yes, I asked for her number. She gave me it without any hesitation.

Today we were supposed to meet at a local bar in our downtown area. I have to work late today, so I asked her if it was ok if we moved the time up an hour. She replied saying that we might need to reschedule because she's been in the hospital since Friday. She doesn't know when we can reschedule (red flag) and she doesn't know when she will be release.

I told her no worries and asked what was wrong and she didn't have an answer. She's said and I quote "Still trying to figure out." I replied feel better and left it at that. My gut is telling me she's lying but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt because I don't know what's going on in her life. I'm soft nexting her and going after other targets. Was she be truthful or telling me lies? Did I handle this situation correctly?
