This previous spring semester, I met this RA at my university who was pretty into me.

I decided to go to her room to make an attempt at 'netflix and chill'. She answered the door literally while being all dressed up and said she was preparing for a date with her boyfriend the next day. I'm not going to lie, I was felt dumb for trying what I just did. However, her reaction to what I asked surprised me because she was willing to cheat on him with me if I chose to (she apologized for the mess in her room and was enthusiastic about the idea of watching a movie together). I didn't do that though just because I was too shocked at the time and instead opted to talk; we ended up chatting for about an hour and got to know each other.

I guess my SMV is higher than hers (at the time, I just started being attractive, so I never had any positive female attention beforehand) and she was surprised that I had an interest in her over other girls. She eventually started probing with LTR questions, which eventually lead to her saying that she doesn't know if she'll be with her current boyfriend when she goes to grad school next year. In addition, she has expressed that she wants a family and isn't sacrificing that for a high paying career and other materialistic goods. So far, she has been the best candidate I've found for a LTR.

However, I don't want I don't want to set a precedence of cheating before a relationship is over. I followed the 2/3 contact rule with good results. I haven't been seeing her other than when she initiates small talk when she's working on the main floor of my dorm or when we pass by random chance; whenever either of those two events occur, she's enthusiastic to see me. However, because she still has her boyfriend, I neglected her about her until the final day of the semester. I guess she was confused why I was I wanted to talk to her. The first thing she asked if I was not coming back next semester, but I just wanted to know where her room was going to be this upcoming fall semester, so I guess she seemed to be understanding of that. I don't have her cell phone number and I don't have Facebook, so there's been no contact at all over the summer. I kept it that way so that there's no trace of her branch swinging behaviors to her social circle or boyfriend.

I'm not sure how to move forward from here though... I'm having doubts if I should I try to initiate contact with her and ask if she's going to end the relationship with her current boyfriend or should I wait until she initiates contact with myself? I'm just worried that she will either lose interest due to her believing that I'm out of her league and have found someone else or simply that I haven't made a move on her yet. She will be working as a RA at my dorm again, so chances are we will run into each other at some point.

Just to clarify: I'm not turned away at the idea of having concurrent plates, but I don't see it being that probable as I don't have much muscle mass on me right now (that's something I plan on fixing once I have an unlimited food plan this fall semester).
