Hey, I'll try to keep this short and straightforward, whilst still giving some context.

  • Been with my LTR for almost 2 years, we're really young (20-21).
  • She comes from a more traditional family (north-eastern Europe).
  • She is proper LTR material: quite RP, traditional, loyal, smart, hot, monster in bed, promising career. You get the deal. Oh and she hates feminism.
  • One of her life goals is to build a large, strong family. She is very convinced of this.
  • I love her and she loves me. Don't want to sound cheesy or humble-brag. I've got my shit together and she would kill for me.

Lately she's been wondering about her future, which I guess is normal at our age. She knows I have never been enthusiastic about kids, which I also guess is normal at my age.

The other day she confessed she is scared. She teared up telling me she worries about the future. On the one hand, she says, she wants a life with me. On the other, she is sure she wants a family and, as of now, she says she would only want it with me (you know).

The issue is, I'm not giving her that certainty. It's not that I never ever want to have children, it's that the decision does not concern me yet. I'm really young, my foreseeable future has myself at the center. I want to travel, I want to start businesses (and fail them), I want to work my ass off, I want to build myself.

After all of that is done, then I will think of children.

She told me she knows 'loving me should be enough' to fulfill her, but she also knows she will never be happy without building a family. I really respect her goals, like she does mine, and I would not want her to regret any decision.

Any insight would be really appreciated.
