I went ahead and asked about the number she showed me. She claims to have been texting him and admits to just be trying to plate him. There's some probably irrelevant chatter, then this:

Me: "It's been what, a month since we met up?"

Her: "That's wild".

Me: "We should do it again soon. Sometime when I don't feel like I'm about to be kicked out any minute".

Her: "What's going on?"

Me: "What?"

Her: "Why are you almost getting kicked out?"

Me: "We had 40 minutes or less before you had to leave for class".

She saw that last message 20 minutes ago. No reply, yet.

But what she has said doesn't make sense. She's acting confused when she shouldn't be, almost like how I'll beta my way out if some chick I'm not into tries to start up a conversstion.
