If in doubt assume it's a shit test.

You can "talk" your way out of social faux pas (by holding frame and moving on) but you cannot recover the same way from loss of attraction due to failed shit test.

Best course of action is to ignore what your buddies said and realize you'll never game her in he company of two other men because she'd come off as a slut if she didn't shit-test and reject you. Girls have to protect their reputation and always need to have plausible deniability. Should've brushed her thing with your hand under the table or gently kicked her by mistake, but kept it subtle enough to where your two idiot friends (who went about playing wingman the wrong way btw) don't pick up on it. Being subtle lets a girl know you respect her integrity, you're smart, and that you're socially aware. Whereas your friends are blunt and stupid thinking what they said/did would in any way help get you laid.

Passing the shittest: Brush against her thigh, then a minute later rest your hand in your lap but touching her thigh. Maybe it seem accidental. If she backs away, then purposefully lay your hand on her thigh. (make sure no one else is aware this is happening) Whatever happens, maintain amused mastery: she pulls away, nothing happened cause no one saw it; she lets you keep your hand on her thigh, she's obviously interested and you passed the shittest, run your hand down her thigh and back off, pursue later in more intimate environment. Regardless, later, if you get a chance, ask for her number.

Just assume it is, I never tell myself a girl isn't interested. In my mind she always is she just hasn't realized it yet.

In the end it doesn't matter because you'll much rather want her to fuck off eventually than stick around.

Don't think about what you have to do to make a girl like you, think about what you have to do to make a girl like you less. That's honestly much more difficult.
