frame it in a smart sexy way. Don't go blurting out "i'M a cRiMinAL" explicitly like a dork trynna be a bad boy or sth. just give the air that you've been there. Arson seems badass to me but I don't seek comfort from you. Maybe tell it as a form of an interesting story complementing your character? If you are working a dead end job then fuck no, it will sound lame. But if yoy do well, why the fuck not?

Tone and delivery matter.

You want to mention it casually and in passing with an air of un-importance to it. Don't just blurt it out like a confession. Make it a fun story about the crazy wild person you used to be when you were younger.

Or just don't mention it at all if you don't think you can nail the tone.
