Climate change, Gretha Thunberg, feminism, #metoo, LGBT.. These days this seems like the only thing people are discussing, and what the media is writing about. These topics are often discussed both in and outside the workplace, and people have strong opinions on some of the subjects. Women especially, and since they mostly act on emotion rather than logic, i've seen them go crazy when discussing these topics with others, often ending in them resenting that person. There's also a lot of sheep-logic involved, and people seem to follow the what their friends think, not having their own opinions. I've tried to purposely avoid joining in on these discussions, especially with women, as i don't see any benefit in having women resent my opinions. I've witnessed colleagues losing frame because they said something that others deemed controversial, and it got heated.

I remember reading examples in here of how women will look past opinions that they themselves originally despite, because they are too attracted to you. Is this true? I mean, there are plenty of examples of men with criminal charges having no problems getting girls. What's the norm? Avoid discussion, unless asked specifically? Also, is there some theory around this topic? I would like to read some more examples..
