I get how you can't show emotions in front of women. Be stoic and all that. But if you express frustration, does that lower your value or is it seen as alpha?

Nothing to do with girls. The other day I was at a party where everyone was singing (I'm deaf) and I couldn't understand what was going on so I left and did my own thing in another room. Is that seen as bad or good?
