I just find it funny that you think 20,000 is a small town.

Yea its not a big city but here is how the big (to me) town close by works. It's about that size.

There are hundreds of groups that all pretty much know each other, and some interaction/cross-over between those and other groups.

But there will always be groups that don't really interact with each other. If you have a bad reputation amongst one group of a few hundred people you can join a new one.

But generally people don't gossip as much as in actual small towns. Like less than 1,000

Haha, my hometown is way smaller than that, maybe about 300 people on a sunny day. So what I can say is that social proof is everything, and the girls have a hive mind. There's also a world in a bubble mentality. These girls are thinking they are the apex, simply because they don't leave their insular small town. 'Grade inflation' is a thing too, in that a small town HB9, is an anywhere else HB7.

So if you really want to cause a stir, leave the small town and head for the nearest metro area. Proceed to plate an actual HB9. Bring her back to your small town, where she will be the hottest thing in the county. The local established hierarchy will take notice, and start gossiping about you, which is girl signal for 'he's desirable.' The thing is you are getting HB8s and HB9s at that point, and probably won't care for most of the local fare anymore.

This may not be entirely relevant to your post, but I met a small town girl a few years back, and she was staying at my place for the holidays (with my family at the time).

It took me one day to hook up and suck those tits :) I never fucked her, and she even had a boyfriend, but the idea of being so far from her home and her "small town" environment kind of gave her wings.
