Moved back home at the beginning of the year to a small-ish rural town in northern VA. It's about 10 mins from the middle of god damn nowhere and I'm going crazy. All the women here are either fat, have 5 kids, or are in high school. Every decent looking girl leaves for college and never comes back. Go to New York, DC, Raleigh, or Richmond after they graduate usually. If they didn't, there's usually some major baggage or red flags that comes along with them.

I've been working on my shit. I've got a well paying job with a good schedule, I have high SMV relative to where I live and it is in continuous growth. I've been weighing and measuring all my food down to the gram and hitting the gym hard and seeing some good gains, and reading more books. I'm working on putting money away in the bank, should have $10k saved by the end of the month starting from $1500 in January. I'm going to my first Jiu Jitsu class in years in about 4 hours and Muay Thai tomorrow.

The thing is, TRP is right. All of this stuff adds to your confidence and lessens approach anxiety. Builds the mentality of "I'm the prize."

The problem is that there are no goddamn women to approach and nothing to do. I've gone out looking for women to approach numerous times, and literally every time but one have not seen a single one. We're talking about seeing one approach worthy woman since January. That particular woman was a bust. I could handle this if there were other things to occupy my time with. There used to be a lot of outdoorsy things to do here in the summer time. Here lately there has been a lot of growth in my town, but not in the good way. Not an influx of young people and nightlife, but and influx of housing developments and middle aged families with teen children that will go on to leave as soon as they turn 18. The median age is rising and has been for the last several years. The housing developments are going up around the lakes and river and almost every recreational rural spot to give city folks "a feel of the country" while ruining the only things to do here.

Drove around for about 6 hours today going into various places and scouting some kayaking and fishing spots for summer. Everythings turned into dead end streets and, as usual, found zero women to approach. Couldnt even find the lake through all the houses that have gone up.

Where do i go from here? I've read the sidebar and am doing damn near everything this sub advises to do as far as I know. One thing I'm missing is moving to a bigger city, which I plan to do by next year, but I want to get a substantial financial cushion under me before I do. How am I supposed to keep myself from getting stir crazy? How hard can a man possibly monk mode before he needs out? I'm literally getting depressed doing nothing but going to the gym, working, and reading books all the time. All of my friends are losers and honestly add nothing to my life, so I've been a loan wolf lately. I honestly feel like I've exhausted every avenue of life here until I move and have absolutely nothing until that time comes.

Excuse the bitching, but hopefully there are some words of wisdom or harsh criticism to be had that will get me on a better path.
