If they think that, they must not be high smv compared to you. Go after higher smv girls and I doubt you’ll have the same problem.

If women aren't responding then your SMV isn't as high as you think it is, by definition.

It's like the philosophy major telling everyone how employable he is despite the fact that he can't find a job (i.e. not employable).

Two things happen.

First, if a woman thinks you're too hot or too successful, while she's mostly ordinary, then she knows you're not going to date her for real, just have casual sex. If she's not looking for casual right now, she's not going to take your advances seriously.

Second, and possibly more likely, if you're tall, fit, financially secure, and have your shit together, women get it in their heads that they want to date you instead of just having casual sex. So instead of throwing themselves at you, they pretend that they're good girls. And when you ask, "Why aren't you throwing yourself at me", they fish for validation: "I thought I wasn't good enough for you", hoping you'll respond, "You're pretty and special and good enough for me". Because they want to date you, not just fuck you, so they're tossing out beta-bait to see if you'll validate them.

It means with those particular girls you must lead more, because they are insecure about their SMV relative to yours. I've had similar accounts, where women thought I was so cool and awesome and they didn't have a chance. In some cases it was me leading to sex that made it happen, because in their mind there was no chance.

It's kind of a mindfuck, because I don't view myself like that. Either way, it once more underlines that you should "always assume attraction" and the guy must lead at all times.
