"No I don't think it's a good idea I mean you don't really talk to me throughout the day hanging out sounds more like a chore like are we still on you don't ask how my day is or make small talk so you have a good night maybe I'll see you around"

Just received this text from a girl I was suppose to see tonight after I texted earlier in the day to make sure we were still on. A little background: I met this girl months ago, went out twice, everything went well then she went radio silent on me. Whatever, I moved on no biggie. 2 weeks ago she sends me a dm on Instagram explaining why I never heard back from her. He ex was stalking and blowing up her phone so she lost my contact and didn't have a way to get in touch with me until she made an Instagram. Don't know if I believe the story but whatever. She says she wants to see me so I tell her to meet me Sunday. That time and date didn't work out so she offers another day. Again, I have other things to do so I tell her I'll text her later in the week to set something up. Tell her again to meet me this past Sunday and she has something going on. She starts to give me a bit of attitude acting like I only offer times I'm available to hang (obviously) but I just tell her I'm busy. Not getting aggravated or anything. Eventually I ask her to meet me in the park with my dog today. She's game and it seems like the soft next from months ago is working in my favor. But then she sends me this text. Now it screams of neediness and attention whore so I haven't and will not respond and hard next her. My question is, does limiting text to just logistics hurt your chances sometimes or is this just a natural filter and her response is really just showing me that I should stay away from her anyway? Thanks guys.
