Dating a gorgeous, college-educated & loyal Icelandic babe that I knew in high school & reunited with through a friend of a friend after everyone got through college & their mid-20s.

I'm 27, she's 26 - we've been together 3mos & the other night I met all her college-days friends.

Here's the catch - I applied to nursing school & have been bounced around in the lottery system to the point of not giving a fuck. In the meantime, I've accrued 10+ years of coffee business experience. So I have an associates (inb4 u fuckin pleb).

Anyway - not certain if it's because she's surrounded by baby showers, weddings & "milestones" or what, but she tells me while we're out & she's had a few that she thinks I should go back to school. Talk about it when we're sober later, same story. I simply acknowledged that I heard her, but that there was no way to change any of it (career/education etc) instantly.

Fast forward from Friday to this morning & my current employer informs me I'm going to get schooled in roasting in the coming months & they want to accommodate sending both us.

She of course would love a free trip with me.

The real question is if she's cognizant that I'm realizing something I've been working on for awhile & that I would owe it to my employers to remain with them for such a crazy gift (I've worked for them for 1 month).

Granted, this discussion crosses a lot of boundaries within TRP philosophy - BBAF, being the Captain, inner/outer game, self-improvement versus demonstrating value.

I even lift bros.

Tl;dr is it possible to convey honor being a male abstraction when it comes to making your ambitions reality?
