Do: Realize the importance of first impressions, work hard, ask questions and have solutions (this also applies to policies/practices), put yourself in other peoples shoes (view things from a diverse set of perspectives), and realize your place at work

Don’t: go to your boss or others solely with problems, make your boss look bad, slack off, or let people walk all over you.

Dress well.

Always keep your boss's boss off your boss's back.

Shut up and listen.

Everyone knows you're the newbie. Embrace it.

Take the shit tasks.

Do every task, no matter how menial, like your entire career depends on it.

Every moment of of every interaction is an interview for a job offer you may or may not get.

Don't make anyone look bad.
