Social awkwardness and shyness are not introversion. Sure, there may be some correlation, but that's it.

Introversion originates in the brain. Arousal theory states that introverts have a lower baseline of stimuli needed for arousal as opposed to extroverts.

The regulation of autonomic systems is also different between introverts and extroverts in the sense that they share different quantities of certain receptors.

I am an introvert, you can disbelieve all you want, but that's the reality of the situation. Being around loads of people burns me out, less so if it's just one person. Mental fatigue isn't my most beloved feeling.

Socializing and communicating may have been problems in middle school for me(likely due to my mishandling of my introversion), but that has long past.

The constant spread of disinformation makes me shake my head in disappointment. If you rely on changing your personality to some obnoxious extrovert ideal in order to mesh well with game and TRP, I've got news for you, you're a beta bitch.

Being an introvert and being an asshole aren't mutually exclusive, never have been. Yes, the brain can model and simulate reality - to an extent that makes reality completely inseparable from the model.(shouldn't this be an argument FOR living in your head? lol) Being introverted means that you're merely on one side of a spectrum, it doesn't mean you're a complete recluse. Introverts, myself included, can spend plenty of time extroverting sans anxiety, however, after a certain threshold of extroverting is reached, they begin to feel drained. It wouldn't be hard to list at the very least 10 different neurochemical hypotheses for this.

If acting in tandem with my introversion keeps me happy and my dick sufficiently wet, what's the problem? No aspect of my life is being held 'back'.

Logically speaking, not having to constantly interact with people allows me to have more time to myself, improving. I get to go on long circuitous hikes by myself, work out, read, program, indulge myself in photography and music, and the list goes on. All of these things are magnitudes more interesting than other people. I've spend a good deal of time studying psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, sociology, and can tell you frankly - that social interaction isn't all that interesting for me. It's a 'been there, done that' sort of feeling.

In fact, I feel sorry for people who need constant social validation under the guise of being 'alpha'. To me, alpha merely means getting what you desire.

listen to yourself, tell me that isn't a rationalization, tell me you aren't attached to that diagnostic because it makes you feel special, it gives you a identity, a no effort way to define yourself.

Your ego, is acting up, it wants to protect your paradigm, because even if I am slightly right that means that you are not as much of a hero in the face of adversity as you portrayed yourself in your mind to be. Be it a physiological or even a preferential limitation, life is relative, reality is whatever your mind fabricates. If someone has an issue that is limiting their enjoyment of life, by all means, they need to get that shit sorted out.

People are black boxes which you input some token into and receive a prize which you desire, this is in the most ideal circumstances. Hardly as interesting as exploring infinity in the sciences.

That identity is very self indulgent and a great shield of self criticism.

And I am arguing that introversion is just a cognitive construct that can be sorted out, if you really want to.

those black boxes are filled with potential, if you are just brave and curios enough to try them out.

Then find some shit that is fullfiling, just don't indulge yourself as limited by a post modern diagnosis and say, well I can only enjoy this.

It's not about machismo, I just particularly find enjoyment in it, you could find enjoyment in being a entrepreneur or being a pimp, I have no idea, you have no idea, just don't limit your options artificially.

IF your ego has a limiting nature, it is a issue, mine has that tendency to, you know how much of an issue it is for women, we all have it, your paradigm is just reinforced by a post modern personality label, but it is just as toxic, step outside yourself and judge objectively, are you missing out, is it a hinderence? If you answer yes, you have the power to overcome it. And you can only have to gain by doing so, the introvert ego bubble will still be there, you just won't feel the need to use it as much.

Most people's moods/states of being fluctuate wildly!

Most people tend to swing from extro to intro and back on a daily basis depending upon who they are interacting with ... e.g I doubt you behave with your boss as you do with an old friend. They might see you completely differently than you see yourself

IMO this is like "art" .... it's up to the observer to 'name it' art, not the 'artist'

I am not arguing whit another red piller, what qualifies as scientific fact in todays academia.

Reject my critique as subjective ignorance if you must.

But I would urge you to try a tech fast, 3 days no technology whatsoever, books are fine, just no tech: computer tv, radio or phone(nothing that stimulates you). Then after your "fast" go out with some friends and see if you are still a introvert. Try it out, as a experiment.

Whether you do or do not, I don't have anything to gain other than a ego jerk if you tell me I was right, but I don't want that(seriously don't indulge me, don't even tell me if you did it or not), if I wanted ego trips I'd have a blog. I am only here to give others some insights and maybe help them(yes this is also a small ego trip but I am only human). And IMO this is just another self limiting label that serves to justify lack of personal development without harming our modern egos.
