Recent girlfriend already has plans to study abroad during the summer, her and her friends have been excited about it and talking about it way before we became exclusive. She was face timing one of her friends last night when I was sleeping over, friend was making jokes about going on a "break" from her bf, gf laughed but called out her friend and put her down. The friend said "if something did happen would you tell him [her bf]", she replied "no but I would kill you".

I don't think I could do an LDR, I feel like I may have to end it before then. Just feels wrong to keep going with it knowing there's an expiration date already set in stone, she has strong feelings towards me. I don't think I could restart it when she got back, I don't do "breaks".

Unsure how I should approach the situation, study abroad program is for 6 weeks. Trying to keep as loose a grip as possible, but still unsure how to proceed. Don't know f I should cut it off early or enjoy the ride knowing I'm going to have to end it while having her get more invested.
