You can say it in a joking/charming manner which might make her see you as an HVM.

Also, don’t say it in front of other people. This is a big turn-off for most women.

Agree with too much asshole there. I’ve been guilty of the same my man, need to dial it back a little. There’s confidence and there’s being a dick. Take it as a learning curve, turn the volume down a touch. Quick question myself, if this situation occurs is it best to take the loss rather than try to salvage the situation?

Confidence is real, arrogance is over the top fabricated unless you really are like that 24/7. Women can detect fakeness and arrogance. It is not likeable. The only times it could work is if you have something of legit value someone wants so they will tolerate it. Either you're really rich, successful, very high social clout or really good looking. People in general might be ok with it. Else anyone of similar status will think who is this poser trying to do? Bitch you ain't shit. It is also how you deliver your message. If you want to be cocky funny, you need to kind of play what you say as if you're joking.

Constructively speaking, you acted too cocky with your words and she felt insulted. Ie you arent at the level of cockiness to what you objectively are.

You could have worded it as "if we see eachother again" so it's open to interpretation whether or not you meant "if I decide to see you" or "if it just happens".

Or you could have said it jokingly

Unless you made it obvious you were teasing her, then yeah you were too arrogant, and that’s not a good thing. It actually makes you look weak, especially if you don’t have any tangible to back up your attitude.

Side note and I don’t mean to attack you but that’s also the vibe I’m getting from your post. Since when is being an arrogant asshole a good thing? If you don’t care about not getting laid, why mention it at all?

It reads like you’re trying to present things in a cool way in order to get validation from a bunch of internet strangers, to feel like you’re a part of a “pack”.
