TLDR: Looking for feedback from people who have tried testosterone supplements, and might have any other insight.

Body (FR/story): I'm a 22yo guy who's been studying here for the past few months. I've already made some big changes in my life - Started a couple hobbies, eliminated time wasting, started lifting, dieting better, changed my attitude, taking my appearance more seriously. I didn't look bad, but now I look better. It's incredibly relieving to finally understand the physics of M/F relationships, instead of spiraling around in contradictions, feminist fog, and cliches.

The results have been obvious. Turned a friend into a FWB. Getting IOIs from her friend. All of the sudden, family members are talking about setting me up on dates with people they know. I'm getting replies on dating sites.

It's still not enough though. I'm still lacking. I've improved my attitude, lifestyle, fitness, but still have a long way to go. Socially, I'm lousy. I don't small talk enough, I don't have friends. I feel like I have problems communicating with people. I've gone from hermit Joe to slightly-below-average Joe. It's not for lack of trying either - I can force it, I just have zero interest in other humans. So it comes across as forced and fake, which produces no results. Truth is, I've been like this forever.

A while back, I stumbled upon a post with comments speaking well of a drug "Phenibut". I purchased some, it's been a miracle drug. I sleep better, I focus better, I can get out of my own head and take genuine interest in other people. I wish I can be that guy all the time! But this isn't a drug that I can use regularly.

So what might I do, see an expensive professional, get a real script? They're not going to prescribe me anything of use. I'm not a threat to myself or others, and they'll probably try blue-pilling me, shoulder me off with some generic anti-depressants with the other 1/3rd of the country.

Conclusion: Testosterone. I think that's what I'm missing. I'd like to give it a try. Success stories, anyone? If you have any other input, I'd welcome that too.
