Well here's your issue. If you set the date up and all of a sudden you switch up what you're doing she knows you're doing it as a tactic. So stop talking but do it slowly less and less.

Also "building rapport" is bullshit. You don't need to build rapport.

Think of texting as a bespoke social media.

If you find something relevant to share then do it.

It can be a corgi in a box gif or something you found funny that happened to you during the day.
