I'm new here, and I am also in a LTR of two years. We are currently both studying abroad (college students), and will be meeting up next weekend.

I am texting with my girlfriend and she says to me, "I really hope my period comes before we meet up..." Naturally this is something that I want too, so I respond in kind: "Yeah, I hope so too." Pretty standard, not much else to say there.

Theeennnn she comes back with: "What if I literally have it the whole time we're together?" My natural inclination is just to say, "That would suck" and be done with it. But she does this sort of thing a lot, and I know that what she really wants is to hear me go out of my way to tell her how much I want to have sex with her, etc.

What's a way that I can respond to these sorts of comments that will both appease her and prevent myself from allowing her to manipulate me into complementing her?
