I'm accustomed to having females tell they're not interested or tell me I'm creepy for talking to strangers, sometimes within seconds of trying to open, sometimes just after saying "Hello," albeit I'm sure that's something we have all experienced at one time or another.

However... Sometimes (I find this to be most prevalent with East Asian women, regardless if they're U.S. raised or foreign born) they will just pretend you don't exist. No eye contact, no reply, she just walks past you as if you are a ghost.

I'm intrigued on the possible reasons someone would outright ignore someone like this.

Do they have poor social skills?

Thinking they're so far out of your league you don't even deserve acknowledgement?

Anyone experienced this? Curious about ya'll's experiences or theories.
