I know the general rule for people in TRP is that you have to sleep a minimum of 8 hours. However, I was thinking of doing that as efficiently as possible. So I want to ask you guys best way to do that.

So the most basic way of doing it is going to bed around 22:00-24:00 and waking up at 6:00-8:00. This is how I do it too but doing this causes fluctuating energy levels. Especially around 16:00-17:00ish I tend to get sleepy tired and my overall efficieny goes down.

Another way of doing things is splitting your schedule to two pieces. One 3 hours and one 4.5 hours as 1.5 hours is supposed to be a single sleeping cycle you can have full cycles this way. This way just as your energy levels start to lower you go back to sleep and you wake up energetic and you sleep most of the time. However, my problem with this is it's hard for me to sleep when I am not empty of energy. So I end up wasting some time just rolling on the bed and not actually sleeping.

The last one I heard is apparently the most efficient one. Taking 1.5 hour naps during the day. This supposedly keeps you energetic all throughout the day. However, in this one I get the same problem of not being able to sleep. Then there is the problem of finding a place to take a nap too.

I just want to learn what you guys think of these schedules and what do you think is the best one and why. Or if you have other schedules I would also like to learn about those.
