Hi all this question is more just for my general knowledge according to how i've observed heartbreak from my perspective and the perspective of women .

Not too long ago I soft nexted my main plate , she claimed during that period to be " heart broken" she didn't speak to her friends much and couldn't even muster the ideal of sharing the possibility I might be gone . However she still fucked another guy ( we're not exclusive and I will never LTR her so it's perfectly fine ) .

I figure the not sharing the possibility of being gone with her friends is because she sees me as a status item in her social circle so a potential reduction in status is painful . is that where the majority of the heartbreak comes from ?

By comparison when I was heartbroken by a oneitis in the past my mere existence without her seemed impossible . the slightest whiff of her would set me ablaze with hope only for me to become a miserable pile of shit when there was no real fix for our relationship. I couldn't entertain the idea of a womans company be it sexually, as a friend , any contact I derived from a woman I desired from her specifically .

so ultimately my question is can you guys speak to the differences I have noticed between myself in heartbreak and my plate and give me some insight as to what goes on in the typical man and womans mind during a break up or loss of access to a partner ? Thanks !
