I read a couple times in this sub that this rule is now old, and I recently began to use it and am not sure what to think. I get that in theory, it makes you stand out from the orbiters, but many girls like to text pointlessly these days and I absolutely hate texting. With a strong passion. I don't even text my best friend since he moved away and talk with him on Skype here and there. Or any of my other friends for that matter, if I need to talk to them I just hit them up and tell them to meet up and that is what we do. I don't have time to sit around and text all day, my study takes up a lot of my time, especially since it is not in my mother tongue. I tell many of my friends that I hate texting but they tell me it is a necessary part of getting a girl interested in me. And these guys do get girls, and I don't.

I don't know, what do you guys make of this rule? What is your experience with it?
