Went on an actual date for the first time in awhile. I met my plates through parties so this whole going on a date thing was a bit different.

Get to bar. She seems into me. Asking me questions. Pointed out she smoked she said "hopefully that's not a problem" I took that as good, she's qualifying to me.

She's a film major, apparently she was texting them during the date because they really needed her help for ideas and I guess some serious matters. Thought that was a bit weird.

Whenever I quit talking she would always come up with something to talk about. Laughed at shit that wasn't even that funny that i said.

We left because apparently her exs friend who punched her in the face showed up to the bar. We were in the car and the "sorry I smoke" thing came back she said "do you smoke? I usually just give a fair warning to new friends that I do"

Not sure if overreacting but I took that as a being labeled as a friend and put into the friend zone.

Am I overreacting about this?
