Bit of background: 24/M/London. Spent 6 months backpacking around SE Asia last year with two friends and loved every minute of it.

Been at my current company for 13months and am on the cusp of moving (being poached by a similar company...pay rise and promotion).

After Asia we agreed we would head to South America for 6months starting Summer 2016. Just wondering what you guys think about backpacking? Seeing as to do this will put another gap in my CV and I will be needing to set aside a fair chunk of my disposable income to hit my savings target.
