To your second question, the answer is a resounding "no." If I could recall, Caesar and Christopher Hitchens were bisexual and neither were remotely beta; beta-ness is more about actions and beliefs rather than what exactly you do in the bedroom.

I don't see how a gay guy couldn't be an alpha in the relationship. I mean if you can have a woman be an alpha it only makes sense a man could given the same circumstances. It's just how you control the relationship that makes you an alpha.

Do you consider guys who also fuck around with guys to be inherently beta?

I never thought about it until just now, but one of the most domineering, intense, aggressive guys I ever met was as queer as a three dollar bill. Totally 100% gay, and totally 200% badass in terms of his life. Whatever anyone would call him, "beta" would not be it, and if you did, it might well be the last words you ever spoke with your natural teeth. Anecdote is not data, but for me, I would have a hard time making that sort of gay=beta connection as a result.

Your post did give me pause when you said "what power being "keeper of the sex" gives you, the unconscious contempt you develop for betas when you have guys throwing themselves at you".

Regarding the former, a guy who has ever been pursued by a woman will know what power comes from granting access to the bedroom. A woman who wants you will do almost anything to make it happen, even more so than a guy, to be honest. It is just that women, relative to men, are less apt to display this behavior, because they are more selective about guys they obsess over. And when pursuing a guy, women are more circumspect about letting others see it. But when the horny bomb goes off in a gal, man, you know it if you are the guy she is chasing.

Similarly, if you are not attracted in any way to the woman pursuing you like that, you initially feel a bit of sympathy for the gal. But if she persists, or gets pissy, when there is no reciprocation by you, yeah, the contempt starts to seep in. You just want her to back off and leave you alone. The more she escalates or persists, the more you dislike her. I think women can go straight to dislike upon an unsuitable suitor presenting himself. Guys will generally not red line the needle on that reaction until the gal is starting to act inappropriately.

Alpha and Beta are not about sexual orientation, but rather your position within the sexual marketplace. This is interesting, though, because it seems to me that depending upon the nature of the sexual marketplace, Alpha and Beta traits will manifest differently.

If you're operating within an entirely heterosexual SMP as a man, your Alpha traits and Beta traits are straightforward as defined by the majority of Red Pill literature. But what about a mixed SMP of hetero-, bi-, and homosexual entities? Being an entirely heterosexual male myself, I can't accurately speculate about what traits would act upon me as 'Alpha' or 'Beta' when displayed by another male...would it be different when displayed to me, a male, than when displayed to a female?

Any bi- or homosexual guys care to comment with observations? Original post smacks of some of this, but I'd be interested in fleshing it out more.
