I’ve been hitting on a girl for a while and we both got drunk and made out last week, even though she has a boyfriend. She told her boyfriend pretty much straight away and he has decided to break stuff off with her.

She’s admitted to me that she likes me but feels bad for liking me cause her boyfriend was “a good guy”. She said she wanted her crush on me to fizzle out.

Since then I’ve been playing it how I did pre-kiss/breakup, acting fairly aloof but teasing where possible blah blah blah... I even dropped that I was meeting with an old friend of mine that she knows I’ve slept with in the past, just to keep the hamster wheel going. However since she broke up with her bf, she’s been very hot/cold with me, acting very flirty one day and then not at all the next.

My question is whether I should keep gaming how I have been doing all along, whether I should drop back a bit, or whether I should make a risky move and escalate further. Happy to answer any further questions if you need.
