I'm beginning college in about a month. I'm excited for the change in environment but I'm uneducated of the social changes from high school. I've read this post already (very helpful), but I am looking for some more advice. I am pretty inept when it comes to social media, so I'd like to ask: how important is it in determining your SMV in college? And, how to improve on my social media game?

I'm aware that I'm not the best at social media, but I am still trying to find out why my luck wasn't the best with the girls of my HS. Post TRP, I boosted my SMV drastically, and was getting some looks from some of the hottest girls, but I was still falling short somewhere. I talked to them in school, but could never break into the crowd where those girls gravitated to. I had the looks but the not the connections. All of the kids who had high SMV were doing quite well on facebook and insta.

Lastly, I may've seemed over-analytical but this is the method where I can best hone in on what the issue I have is and begin to mend it. Thanks for reading, if you have any tips to help me out I'd greatly appreciate them, as I'm a little lost. I just don't want to keep making this same invisible mistake, not sure if it's just some sort of mental barrier or not.
