Currently in university and started chatting up this cute chick in my class. She seems pretty into it. We were teasing each other, making jokes and laughing etc.

I get her number and shoot her a text a few hours later. She doesn't respond for a few days. I'm trying to figure out where I went wrong. It could be that she just wasn't feeling it at the moment and that's fine, but I've heard people say that I am a douche when it comes to how I talk to girls.

I'm obviously not calling them fat or saying shut up. How I talk is more along the lines of if we're having casual conversation and we disagree on something, I'd give her a push on the shoulder and be like we can't talk anymore or scootch away from them.

My question is if it is possible to be too "mean" when it comes to talking to girls in a way that it drives them away. On the side bar, it talks about the process of comfort, rapport break, comfort, rapport break etc. Maybe I'm not building enough comfort and I'm jumping into teasing/rapport break too early? This also isn't with just one girls but multiple ones.
