I used to do this, and honestly it starts affecting you in situations outside of just gaming women. What I did was to start complimenting people who I wasn't romantically interested in, like coworkers or people I know at the gym. Males and females alike, you just compliment people for genuine reasons, and slowly you'll become a better judge of situations where it's ideal to pull, not push.

Tl;dr - Start by being nice to people you don't want to bang, in genuine situations, become a better judge of when it's appropriate to pull.

I'm the opposite, usually I'm too good at pulling. Tell yourself not to give out free validation, that needs to be earned.

I think push/pull is mostly just pua bullshit.

Holding frame with a little teasing does it for me. Just work on being attractive and that's all you'll need.

You are viewing the pull as negative. It is only negative to compliment when you are not complimenting good behavior. Think of giving a dog a treat when he shits on the floor. Not good. Same with pull. Random compliments can make you look needy, but well timed rewards are effective.

I think one thing you could try is do the opposite of what you think. Find her shallow but attractive ? Compliment her brain and tease/push on her aspect. She knows she's pretty, so she don't need validation for that, sounds beta / needy if you do it.

It's best to hold back, and then finally let your GENUINE feelings and thoughts on what you like about the girl.

They'll appreciate that and making them wait, and them finally hearing it, I think it pays off for them, they like it.
