TRP and LTRs

Nothing wrong with LTR’s. Most guys here will tell you it’s hard mode but I say it’s easy. They lack the frame to run a successful ltr. Most guys here lack the frame to not end up with Oneitis. Again nothing wrong with ltr’s but you need to be grounded in Rp principles or a natural alpha. Based on your question I’ll say you are neither.

My advice. Avoid them for now.

If you want an LTR, get an LTR.

People treat TRP like some binding thing (not necessarily you, OP) that needs to be followed and everything in their life needs to be in a "TRP lense." Really strange to me.
