I have two female roommates I recently moved in with, one an old friend, the second a super-nice girl. I used to be very BP in all respects, proud of being "mature" aka submissive and "don't care, do what you want" aka passive.
I started enforcing RP behavior in my life a couple of weeks ago and the old friend really noticed. She's surprised when I reply back in an angry manner if she acts emotional, she respects me more, she acts mental over my approval of her...once, I offered to help and broke something and she started shouting in frustration and instead of apologizing or explaining myself, I just looked angry and walked out the room and she ran at me apologizing.
The other girl though, is the nicest girl I've ever known. She's no loser, she's confident and social as fuck. I can't explain it without sounding soft but she has this artsy "idk what I'm doing" adorable childishness to her and a wide smile that breaks the masculine frame I try to put myself into. I feel guilty every time I oppose her or tease her somehow and she just charitably agrees. We were picking out something for the apartment and she was just agreeing to everything I say so I openly told her to stop agreeing all the time and somehow it came off as "I don't trust my taste and think you're secretly judging me". Maybe I'm naive to think she's not an evil genius who drove the conversation that way but she doesn't seem like one to me.
TL;DR: How do I maintain my masculine frame with a girl who's childish, agreeable, and "adorable"?
