I am travelling in a different city. A girl today approached me and said her friend thinks "i am really good looking. He wanted me to talk to you. So my question is are you... ?". So i said no i am straight. So the guy comes by as well ( along with her other female friend) and said i am handsome and shit both to guys and girls. I just casually handled it .. "appreciate the compliment. Really flattered. But as i said, I am straight".

Then i just asked the girl how is her situation because she was cute and I already checked them out at the traffic lights before.

She said she has a boyfriend. And then she said if you are walking maybe we can walk together. So we walked together and her male and female friend walked behind us. We walked like for an hour talking and discussing shit. She said the guy just came to them both and asked her help with approaching me.

It doesnt happen often so i was really skeptical, thinking its a scam or something. But nothing got stolen or anything so not really sure what happened. She even gave the number, maybe she will even show me around. Not sure though

Questions : 1) Am i giving like a gay vibe or do gay men just approach straight men as well (however indirect)? 2) was this like a scam and i narrowly escaped. 3) I am 30+, she was 19. And i feel her interest shifted a little when she asked me how old i am. She was putting my age around 24. Any suggestions on handling this (age question) situation with young girls ?

Update : the chick texted to say that the guy waz not gay and was gaming her friend. Lol
