I met a girl a couple of days ago (Thursday) and, like always, it didn't work out. I am posting this because this sort of thing happens to me with every god damn woman I try to get with. In fact, this particular girl was the most receptive I've met in years and so I am further at lost. I am convinced something about my approach is fundamentally wrong and this example is fairly accurately shows how I approach women. I should say I haven't had a date in years and most of my interactions follow this basic outline. So while this post is about one girl I'm more interested in any systematic problems that I may have. Anyways, here's what happened:

Met girl (we'll call her A) at local bar. We talked and flirted a bit. A fair amount of kino. No kissing or anything beyond that. That bar closes and I invite her to go to another bar close by that is open till later. She agrees and her, I and a couple of friends go. During the short car ride she gets a call from a guy who we can all hear is upset and she asks me to tell her the name of the bar and tells him. We arrive at the bar and soon after the guy shows up and she abruptly leaves. As she leaves she invites me to hang out the next day (Friday), but I reject the offer since I was busy. She texts me about a half an hour after she is driven away by the dude a simple "Hey" which I ignore since I didn't end up seeing it until much later in the night. I don't text her back the next day (Friday) either cause I was pretty busy like I said and I didn't really want to have the distraction. Saturday, I text her and our conversation goes:

Me: You missed out, A. (The second bar's name) was poppin after you dipped/got abducted.

Her: Lmfao

Me: I'm going to (place) tonight. You can come with if the kidnappings are over.

This happens at like 1 pm. She doesn't respond until midnight.

Her: Hey :) :)

Her: What u doing

(2 separate texts same time)

Me: Hey. Just finished hanging with some friends. You?

Her: Home bored!

Me: Hm, well, the night is still young. How bout I pick you up and we have some fun?

She doesn't respond from that point. I really don't understand is how she goes from texting me and wanting to hang out to going cold when I just go for it. The only thing I can think of in this situation is that I phrased the hang out as a question which goes against the established dogma of how to ask a girl out.

This situation was unique as she was way more receptive overall in person than most girls I meet, but what happened overall is the same. Every girl does the same thing and I have 0 understanding of why. Every time I go bold/assertive and just ask them out rather than text back and forth with no goal or end in sight, I get rejected in the same way: They just stop contacting me back.

In the end, I have no fucking idea what I'm doing wrong and basically every interaction goes like this or worse. I really need some constructive feedback.
