I went to college in the US and have been working overseas for 4 years. I left because I had a great opportunity to work for a company that is top 3 in the industry thanks to connections. I have a few more months and I'm heading back to the US.

For the last 6 months I've thought about where I'm going to move to, and I've been all over the place. I'm usually a decisive person but I'm having a really hard time with this one. I was in California for 6 years and want to go to a new place. I plan to stay at least 5 years. I'm likely going to get a masters degree after a year of moving to better my career and establish social connections. I'm 28 btw.

I've saved enough money to outright purchase a house in cash in most cities. This has made my decision even harder because while I could easily buy a 4 bedroom house in Nashville, if I go to a big city I would barely be able to buy an apartment in a good neighborhood.

I'm mostly interested in living a bachelor life. I want to plate some hot, young women like the rest of us. I feel like being 28 and new to a city is going to make that extra difficult in college towns, so would a big city be a better option?

If anyone has good sources or advice on location for a bachelor life, I would greatly appreciate it. Please do not factor in job market, I'll figure that out myself.
