TL;DR: What should I be doing as a college student for right now; What program should I do after Stronglifts 5x5; What do I look for in LTRs?

Hey everyone I have some general questions about self improvement, and questions about what I should do right now.

I'm 18 years old. I'm in community college with 23/60 credits to get my AA's and transfer to a university. However, I also want to have a car; nothing fancy, just something to take me from point A to point B.

I can either:

  • Stick to being a Full-time student & attend intersession in breaks to get credits faster. or
  • Become a part-time student & get a part-time job; getting less credits but have become able to save up money for a car.

Which is better for me to do?

I've also started doing Stronglifts 5x5 this week. Compound-lifting for the first time destroyed me, but I felt surprisingly good that I did something strictly for myself and not for others. I was told it is a beginner program, to get a good solid foundation.

What programs can I do after Stronglifts to get my body to look strong, along with still being strong?

Lastly, I got out of a 2-year LTR LDR this month. After hard introspection and reading NMMNG, (Man that book really hit home to me) I realized that I fucked myself for too long. Pleasing others but not myself, showing insecurities, whining, setting myself on fire for validation, not having a social life.

My last question is, is there any concrete path to improving my SMV? I've started with lifting, but on everything else I don't even know where to start.

Thanks for reading.
