There's this girl I work with, and I've known her for maybe two and a half years. A mutual friend who also works with us kind of pushed us together maybe 3 or so weeks ago, despite me not wanting to commit to a relationship while I'm still getting my life together (I'm 21, I like not being tied down right now). Hung out with her like once outside of work, talked after work a few times, and she already wanted to be official. There were also a bunch of red flags that appeared, such as her spilling a lot of her life problems to me so quickly and just behaving not quite what I'd expect from someone who I literally hung out with like once, as if we'd been dating for a long time. She texts me a lot, way too much for someone that I haven't really hung out with outside of work. And just a little bit ago tonight, she sends me this huge ass paragraph about how "she feels like she's wasting her time, I owe her answers," stuff like that. Personally, I don't really want to commit to a long term relationship right now for several reasons (largely the immaturity of young women and the fact that I'd like to get my life more in order before I try something really serious) and I told her that to begin with. I asked her if it would be less trouble to just stay work friends and apparently she started bawling and called our mutual friend to meet her somewhere so they could talk. Lots of red flags here, but was I in the right here? I can elaborate more if you need. Thanks.
