I was on vacation 2 months ago with my LTR of 1 year in Thailand and we were riding on our scooter without helmets. The police stopped us and forced us to pay 40$. I expected her to reach into her purse and pay half but she didn’t. I didn’t say anything in the moment and just paid the full amount.

After that we were on our way again and we arrived at our destination (we were on our way to the party strip) and I calmly asked her: why didn’t you pay half?

Now I’m not shitting you, she looked at me with disgust. Had tears in her eyes and stated “I can’t believe you just asked me that”. I responded “it was just a simple question”... then she turned around and RAN AWAY.

I’m not kidding.. she sprinted away from me in the opposite direction in front of maybe 20 people who were walking by. It was almost like a planned movie scene or some comedy show but it wasn’t. She genuinely thought it was necessary to sprint away like that. It was like she had 0 awareness of her surroundings. This was all because I expected her to be responsible for her own behavior. Bearing in mind she’s 28 and I’m 25.

After she ran off, I didn’t react, chase or call her back.. I just sat there on the scooter and waited while looking at my phone. Five minutes later I saw her in the distance slowly walking back to me. She didn’t apologise and didn’t pay half. She didn’t show any remorse either.

Safe to say we broke up now, but this memory keeps coming up in my mind because I can’t understand it. I actually found her behavior quite scary. It was so flippant, unpredictable, irrational and child-like. Why?

Are all women like this? Or was mine just a crazy bitch? What does it mean? Why was her behavior so dramatic like that over something so small?

Are women really that entitled that they expect a man to pay for their every mistake? And if they don’t pay, they run away?
