What makes a man a man is a hard question. Really my best answer is the opposite of what makes a pussy a pussy. You need drive, motivation, have to get stuff done, not take the easy outs all the time, and owning up to who you are and improving off of it. When you make progress, don't get satisfied easily

There's no one thing or one sentence to say what a man is but I think a big component is being able to adapt to, and overcome adversity plus the self confidence of knowing you can and will overcome any obstacle.

I think there is a specific male confidence that is key to having a healthy level of masculinity. Experience is a huge key to this and I think a large reason so many young men are struggling to find an identity is because so many of their experiences growing up were behind a screen, living vicariously. Sure I played Sega and some pc games growing up but I also spent a lot of time outside... Hunting with a bb gun, cutting down trees in the woods, having fires, we built bike ramps, we rode 4 wheelers, we made our own version of jackass, built potato guns, built outdoor paintball courses, played trampoline slamball, flashlight tag, etc etc. Whenever my dad was doing something around the house or repairing something or working on the car I was always by his side so I could learn how to do things. We were doing manly things as kids. When we wanted something we just did it and learned as we went. We experienced a lot of different things. I've done so many different things in my life that I have full confidence that I can handle about any scenario.

So.many young men lack confidence because they haven't done things. My advice is always to just do things. Do it for the experience. It doesn't matter if you fail or don't like it or any of that. I rarely regret the things I do, and often regret the things I don't.
