No, 8% is not really sustainable for a natural lifter. But 29.5% is just too much. Get it to 15% at least and then see what you want next

Honestly, you shouldn’t even worry about this until you get to 15% or so. Get rid of the lard first and then figure out what else to aim for.

You may have ab definition around 15%, and I believe that's a realistic goal. Any percentages below that are increasingly harder to achieve while maintaining muscle mass.

While these guys are in the elite status of physique, this video does a great job of showing how there's not a perfect correlation between body fat percentage and muscle definition.

Okay so. 29.5% BF is fat. Like, really fat. But you come from much higher bodyfat % so you do not realise that. After few years at a medium to low bodyfat % your self image will change and you will come to realise it. But lets not worry about that right now.

First of all, you've been losing shitload of weight if your numbers are right. Honestly, the rate sounds pretty implausibly high for me, but just for the sake of argument I'll take it. That rate does not sound healthy, and it will fuck you over. Loose skin, if you don't already have tons of it. You do not want it. Please slow down the weight loss to a more sensible pace. Unless you are ready to have surgery and lose your bellybutton and get shitloads of scars all over your body. If you already have... though shit, go see a doctor, that thing can be a real health risk and you likely need it to be surgically removed.

Next up, on the ideal bodyweight. You want to be sub 20% bodyfat. The lower your bodyfat, the better your face will look. For your body, low bodyfat means jack shit unless you actually go to gym and build muscle. To get good looking physique, you will need to go to the gym and weight train. No ifs or buts about it. To get average "non-fat" look, it's enough to cut below 20% but average is worth nothing for catching women. Unless you are top class, your physique doesn't even feature in the equation.

You dont need huge muscles to get the attention of women. They're just a more "in your face" thing. I can tell you from experience that you will get a lot more male attention from muscle than female.

If you want to go the runner's route women will still see you as high value for being in good shape especially since most men are gross fat slobs. That being said I highly reccomend you still lift moderately. You dont have to kill yourself everyday but you need some decent muscle mass. Women want men that look like they're good at fighting in a situation rather than running from a situation

Dont listen to these guys telling you that you need to be 10% bf for good benefits with women. You will look shredded but you need to do that only for yourself because to get that low takes years of hard work and extremely strict dieting. You can still look good with 15%

Ok so I read all your comments and you have your understanding a little wrong.

For you to look good at 15% you need to also have muscle, which won’t be built at a large caloric deficit, so if you want to build muscle and lose weight your calorie deficit has to be 300-500 calories.

It’s definitely worth the effort. But the initial effort you should be putting in is to read more about it and educate yourself on the topic.

The last thing you and most others on this sub need to worry about is your precise body fat percentage. You need to train hard and eat a good diet. Body recomp is doable for someone at your level. Training hard will change your metabolism. Get on a rigorous program that includes high rep squats. You'll gain muscle and lose fat. When people at your level cut, they end up skinny fat and look terrible. Cutting is for people with sufficient muscle mass who want to display it better. People who have minimal muscle mass have no business cutting.

You're being greedy. When greedy people fail, they fail hard. It took years for you to put on the fat and now you want it gone all at once.

Aim to lose no more than 500g a week. Assuming no muscle gain, your target is 60.5 kg for 10% body fat. ~22 kg to lose so 44 weeks. Call it a year.

Stop worrying about numbers. Lose weight, add muscle. Single digit bf are almost always short term for show, not daily life. Shoot for about half your percentage for now and then adjust once you get there. It's probably going to end up being around 11-17% what you can live with daily.
