Adding to the points made by others, it's also about how approachable you are. I have a serious resting bitch face, and if I catch someone looking my way I'll always give them a small smile or something. A smile and a nod, a smile and a wink for girls especially.

The positive is that people don't see you as that weird silent guy, and more of a gentleman. The bad is that people will approach you more and I have this resting bitch face for a good reason.

Aside from appearance, usually also turns out to be the quiet guy is known for actually doing something. His reputation precedes him and gets people interested without the trouble of introducing or selling himself. Athlete, musician, business guy, it could be anything. If they're known for that and have a friend circle of more talkative guys to do the chatty legwork and hype them up, they're golden.

Just look at Keeanu Reeves. He's the archetypal introvert. Why's he popular? Oh, just being a fucking legendary actor. There's that. Now scale that down to something just slightly more attainable.

In other words: become as attractive as you know you should be, do stuff you're good at, and make friends who do the talking for you. Or do none of that and be the silent scary weirdo. You can get laid either way but the first is more fun

Would you want to mysterious guy in the corner whos wearing fashionable clothing, jewelry, giving out good vibes, dapping up guys who walk in/out or the guy whos wearing a plain hanes T-Shirt thats a size too big on his phone.

I saw a guy who people always brought him along to do stuff with and this dude would never speak a word in high school. Granted he was pretty built for being 5'7 and he was an athlete.
