I think mission is the big thing that you work towards, always. You seem to have a very narrow understanding of mission. You've just listed down your goals. Mission is different.

You're confusing "mission" and "objectives"

My Mission:
Become Completely Free: acquire sufficient wealth so that I can do whatever I want, whenever I want it without ever having to worry about money.

My Objectives:
Quantifiable Goals to measure my progress towards my mission.

Examples:
- Improve my physical condition in 6 months to the point where I can DL 350 and run a half-marathon under two hours.
- Decrease daily time wasted to below 15%
- Increase savings to 50K by the end of the year.

Your problem is that you simply have not yet formulated your misson.

My primary goal is to get my music out there and eventually have my music feature in video games and such.

My secondary goal, which probably won't ever change, is just to develop my social skills, acquire plates etc. as a biproduct of that.
