I wouldn't worry about coming across as dickish, with that line you'll come across as desperate and needy.

Go radio silent. Mid conversation if you want. Re-engage 2 days out from your next free time-slot.

Your proposed response sounds whiny. Can you really not find another way to spend your weekend? Do you depend on her saying yes? That's how it's coming off. Amused mastery man, be playful.

As far as a "what to text next" thread, guys would use it as too much of a crutch. It comes down to the proverb about fishing. You wouldn't ever think for yourself. Thats why critiquing short text conversations is alright in my eyes, as you're making mistakes and learning from them. But even that doesn't deserve a dedicated thread. Texting is such a small part of game in general, most of it can be learning by understanding the rest of TRP.

Search for texting related posts here and I'm sure you'll find dozens if not hundreds of guys asking for advice on specific conversations.
