Met a girl three nights ago and got her number, I focused on using the texts for the sole purpose of setting up a date, not idle chit-chat. We arranged to meet on Thursday originally, but she said she got the dates mixed up for a work thing she had to do and so I suggested Wednesday (today) instead. She agreed and we made plans for me to pick her up at 8:30.

I texted her yesterday with a quick message to iron out a couple details and once cleared up, she said she was looking forward to tonight. Everything seemed great. She said she'd text me once she was off work (should've been at 8) so I knew when to head over.

Well, tonight rolls around, 8 o'clock comes and goes and I shoot her a quick message saying "Hey, guessing you got the dates mixed up again, let me know if you want to continue the conversation ;)" and left it at that. Not planning on messaging/calling/contacting her at all unless she re-initiates. But I'm just left here wondering, what the fuck did I do? She said she was looking forward to tonight, co-initiated the plans and everything, but totally dropped the ball on going further.

Any advice? Anything I missed?

EDIT: I should also add that she gave me her number without me even asking for it. She was obviously interested and I don't think I did anything to ruin that, we only talked twice via text and all of it was just to make plans that she seemed excited to be a part of. I'm really lost.
