I just finished a first date with a girl I met off the dating app "Hinge". First time I have ever met a girl off a dating app. She's 30 years old and I'm 28 years old.

She was pretty open to meeting up and we met at a sports bar since I happened to be there anyway for a Japanese language meet up (since I speak Japanese). I left the meet up to take the date with her in another part of the bar.

She seems self-assured. She has an MBA and works for a private equity firm. During this first date, I used a lot of questions from http://theplace.bz/forums.php?action=viewtopic&topicid=4... and she said something like "Wow, you like to ask a lot of questions, huh?" and I was thinking "fuck... that's not really what I'm going for, is it..."

We talked for an hour and a half before she said she had to go. It was maybe 10pm on a Sunday night. We had one drink each. We were going separate directions outside the bar so we hugged and said goodbye then walked off.

I haven't been on a first date or in a situation like this in a long time. How do I handle it? What should my next move be?

I was thinking of sending a text tonight saying something like "It was really great meeting you tonight" but I don't want to seem over eager.

I'm looking for advice on the next move... any suggestions? I'm a bit lost.
