Recently, went on a date and although the outcome was pleasurable the journey was not, I had to drive the conversation for the most part and was rarely even met with an "and you?" to certain questions.

It eventually got to the point where I had completely ran out of things to say, I froze but managed to cover it up, but looking back I think it would've been better to embrace the silence and make her feel awkward enough to start putting in a bit of effort.

Would like to hear what you guys would advise in a situation like this?
