I would class myself as mgtow to a certain degree. I don’t bash women on forums, I’m not angry (I was when I first discovered it, I think most people discover it because of a toxic relationship like myself), I don’t completely hate all women, I still have sex with women and date women.

I guess everyone (followers and non followers) have a different view on exactly what it means too be mgtow.

I used too be pure 150% beta. I was in a relationship with a bdp/ndp girl for several years. She broke me. Not only did she break me, but more importantly I let her.

When I finally saw the light and stopped blaming her for my misery and accepted toxic relationships can only be toxic if your stupid enough too stay in them and walked away I was completely lost. I was chasing girls constantly thinking I could only be happy if I found someone to be with.

That’s when I came across mgtow. Now I come first. It’s made me realise I don’t need a woman. I need to concentrate on myself. I’m the only person I can rely on.

In my mind it isn’t about giving up women completely but limiting the amount of damage that can be done by them and not jumping through hoops too please them whilst giving up your hobbies, friends, money, sanity and life. Whilst at the same time constantly taking steps to improving your life.

Since I discovered mgtow I’ve become debt free, lost masses of weight, gained masses of muscle changed job twice and massively increased my income, put nearly enough money aside too put down a deposit on a mortgage. That’s 18 months. That’s more than I’ve achieved in the previous 30 years. And I’m happier, much happier.

And guess what... I’ve also been laid more in the last 18 months than in the rest of my life.

I think the main difference between mgtow and red pill is that most people that go mgtow have 1 been hurt really fucking bad 2 been stupid enough too let themselves be hurt really fucking bad.

If anyone here doesn’t know about toxic personalities like bdp and ndp I hope you never have to find out.

Sorry for the long post, but I genuinely feel like mgtow stopped me throwing myself under a train. So it’s a following i feel very passionate about.

It’s like a permanent monk mode/ anger phase and it isn’t healthy.

It doesnt mean you have to find someone to settle down with either, the idea is to make peace with all your own personal bull shit, so you can be social and fuck

For all I know the equivalent of a bitter mgtow is a 'red pill' guy spending incredible amounts of time chasing pussy.

Trying to get a self esteem boost from his notch count.
Which means he still puts women on the pedestal.
Which means he is still not focusing on himself, on his hobbies & his business.

As in the MGTOW communities there are incels , in the Red Pill community there are pussy slaves .

Everyone that is capable of opening his eyes to the truth should be respected.

The way of solution should be respected as well.

Your asking a group that is most likely between 16-25. They probably haven't gotten much sex and their hormones are controlling their actions/emotions so they are probably going to have a negative viewpoint of MGTOW.

I know because I was this way as well between 18-25. Once you lay 20+ women or maybe even less (around 20 was my turning point and it took a massive amount of effort to reach that) you start to realize that sex can be fun but it isn't the end all be all and the juice isn't worth the squeeze, especially knowing that a woman can ruin your life with one accusation.

At 32 I would consider myself a MGTOW. I only converse with women if I have to because for me I get along much better with my male friends and don't really enjoy the company of women. Now I take care of my sexual needs with escorts/sugar babies/masturbating and it is working marvelously.

I also choose to spend my time competing in a sport at a decent level, improving my career skills, working on a small business, and reading up on spirituality.

One thing i dislike about that sub besides the guys that actually are trying to GTOW. A lot of them just blame women, the government and non natives (immigrants) for their situation. And to a certain extent its true but TRP ideology is yeah that happens but youve recognised the problems with society and what are you going to do about it? Self improvement, focus one oneself. Stop hating everything as it will not make ur situation any better. Their stance on non natives i dont support either, with them thinking its tough on only white american males. Plenty of men of different age, race, beliefs have these difficulties whites males arnt the only ones but they still try to blame them as well, for taking their women and jobs (incel ideology right there). Its a great ideology but the execution is poor with many men losing focus on why they joined that sub in the first place.

Nithing, both have their place: TRP evolved out of PUA, and they exploit the system, MGTOW is there for those who want to focus completely on themselves, their career and fitness/health. Neither of them is right or wrong, they just pursue different roads at one point.

Best example I've seen was the Casino: Imagine the dealers in there to be the women; now everybody knows the whole system is rigged. Except blue pilled Betas, they go in there and lose all the money in the hopes of winning (get pussy).

The red pilled man knows the tables are rigged and prepares himself to learn all about the techniques to exploit that, and using it for himself in the knowledge that this is how the Casino works.

The MGTOW man knows the system is rigged as well, he just doesn't bother to exploit it and remains outside, focusing on other things.

They are women hating incels. Part of RP is understanding that what women do is their nature. You do not hate scorpion for stinging you. Same with women. Sure a man has to go his own way but withdrawing from sexual market is loser mentality. A woman is an accessory to a man's life. Not a goal. She has to come third or fourth.
