Hello fellow RPers-in-training.

I was texting this girl back and forth (through Bumble), and I noticed that I began to emotionally invest (a no-no, I know) in our conversation, and next thing I knew, I caught myself falling into her frame. Going through our convo, here's the shit-tests I noticed:

  1. "So you are definitely younger than I am.. what are you looking for on bumble?" - My response was to be honest and answer the question. I'm sure there is a better way to handle a question like this (One of the main shit-tests I face is being younger against older women since I appear older, and I'm trying to learn to conquer this specific shit-test).

  2. "Ehhh idk honestly... won't know until i find it i guess... so what do you do? For work?" - Could be a regular question, but could also be a shit-test, I'm not sure (hence why I'm posting here). again, i gave an upfront and honest answer, but was there a better way to handle this?

  3. "Lol oh really I heard that one before" - I was at my wit's end here. I defaulted to an 'Ignore' response and pushed the agenda forward lol. Going forth though, how would I handle a shit-test like this?

(There was a cut-off text right after "Yeah" that said: "What you're taking me to do")

At this point, I started to come to my senses and realize this woman is not worth my time nor wit, so I defaulted into IDGAF mode, ultimately stopping at my "Ok." response.

My question is, what would you have done differently/where did I 'slip up' in this text game? This one in particular threw me off when she made me qualify to a degree, and I'm always looking to polish my game, so tell me, where did I go wrong?

The "ok." at the end was me realizing how steeply I was falling into her frame and catching myself (albeit a little late), and I'm highly sure I can number-close her, but what would the perfect RP response be to this last text? I'm having witty response-block right now.
